Also known by a variety of other names, (dough cutter, dough knife, pastry cutter, bench scraper, board scraper, and bench knife) the dough scraper is used to help pick up, turn, portion, and manipulate dough. When finished, the dough scraper can be used to scrape clean surfaces on which dough has been worked. It can also be used in a more generic kitchen role to transfer sliced or diced foods from cutting board to pan. Measuring 4 3/4 inches tall overall, the blade is made of quality stainless steel and measures 3 inches tall by 6 inches wide, while the handle is made from durable plastic and measures 6 1/2 inches long.
